Kearns Party of 2: Details

Looking back through our wedding photos and reveling in all of the special details is so much fun! Here are a few of our favorite wedding details.
Gold sequin hangers on a gold bell cart make my heart sing!
You can see here where I first saw the sweet note that Ryan wrote on the bottoms of my shoes. It was an ugly cry, y'all!
Our rings! See the story of Ryan's custom wood ring here.
Most of our flowers were purchased from a local farmer's market vendor, but we did special order lamb's ear and billy balls for the boutonnieres. Thankfully, my sweet momma is incredibly talented with a background in floral design, so together my sister and her created the boutonnieres and bridesmaid bouquets!

It was so important to me that our guests just relaxed and let our photographers capture all of the big moments, especially our ceremony and first dances.
For our guest book, we used this Wedding Chicks printable and provided green inks for guests to leave their thumbprint and signature. This is now hanging up in our home's entryway as a lovely reminder of the support we have in our marriage.
In lieu of a unity candle or sand ceremony, we planted a white oak tree to symbolize our union and the new lives we have together in Christ.
We fell in love with this glass-paneled door and knew we had to incorporate it into our big day somehow. Although we wanted a very comfortable feel for our celebration, it is important to provide a little direction on where your guests should sit at the reception! Take it from an event planner..
Can you tell that I love signage? I had so much fun mixing different fonts and typography to create fun displays in mismatched gold frames all over the place!
We only spent a little over $200 on flowers from the farmers market (yep, you read that right!), and we ended up with extra! We had flowers filling nearly every nook and cranny (and every vintage glass bottle in the area haha), and we still had leftover bundles that we needed to stash.

The tree rounds placed on each table were actually also from the same Tanglewood Park white oak that Ryan's wedding band is made from!
I am so thankful for my wedding party and family who helped pull the day together.
Mismatched china and flatware was a priority for me when we started planning. With a recommendation from our venue, we got in touch with Miss Match Rentals and ended up also renting vintage linens and cream chandeliers!
We gifted our guests with white oak seedlings wrapped in burlap cut from Krankie's coffee bean bags!
The poem "Trees" by Joyce Kilmer on vintage tags found on each seedling.
We love this verse--and so does our church!
A fun menu display that the Mr. and I worked on together!
The food was so amazing!!
Delicious cakes on vintage stands--red velvet, coconut, chocolate, and vanilla!

All photography by Joy Davis Photography!

XOXO,
R
